School-Based Health Center
The Warrior Wellness Center within Central High School provides the Valley’s first school-based health center for students.

Meeting students where they’re at

School-based health centers operate as a partnership between Central High School, District 51, and MarillacHealth. The Warrior Wellness Center provides a combination of primary care services, mental health care, nutrition education, health education, and health promotion.
Team-Based Model
MarillacHealth follows a team-based model of care in which medical and behavioral health providers partner to facilitate the detection, treatment, and follow-up of mental health or behavioral disorders.
This approach promotes overall wellness in patients by treating mental or behavioral health needs together with other health conditions in the primary care setting. It not only improves mental health outcomes but also helps prevent and reduce chronic disease.
